wow this is from.. my sophomore year? so two years ago ..two and a half years ago? idk. we had to do an altered book and, although it was my favourite project, i was not very good at it lmao. however there were a few pages that came out pretty cool or at least decent.

i went into it without really an idea and it just was sort of.. a theme of myself, a book about me without just blatantly being like HAY I LIKE THIS AND THIS AND THIS

looking back it's obvious that.. the lettering being so crappy really takes away from it and.. well all around it isn't very good but i still like it kinda gahaha. i'd like to do more altered books but with actual themes and... idk. just better. not just throwing shit on there and making it work. i know i can do collage type things better now since i did that one picture of apparatus so.. IM RAMBLING hi

projects like that are usually really cool because you get to do your own thing
mine wasn't a book though it was a magazine, so I had to stick a bunch of my god-awful writing assignments in it XD

gahh XD that sucks..go to a thrift store n find a book with thick-ish paper or decent paper and MAKE ONEEE!! so so fun.. o___o

luckily my art teacher was cool so she usually let me do my own thing in most of my projects.. XD woot

we got to choose our books and lmfao mine was like a weird book of prayers or something. it was called 'are you running, i'm here jesus' or something it was awesome...

theres a whole little section for like interracial relationships and sex and shit like that o_O so awkward...
